Why is "mon exam" used in the first sentence and "mon examen" in the second to last?

Question..What does ''Mon amie non plus.'' mean ?.. answer My friend neither.

     “My friend too.“ Is given as a mistake.

.. maybe a bit too correct.. whilst my friend neither is grammatically correct, how many of us would actually say that? I think most would more often say “my friend too”.. meaning” my friend agrees with me!

I see that les Lettres and just Lettres (without the 'les') are both accepted as correct answers but then further on the 'les' cannot be left off when used with 'Lettres Classiques'. Is there a rule governing this usage ?

Hi , the point I was trying to make in my question immediately below was that the lesson states that the subjunctive applies after 'vouloir que' where a desire for "someone else" to do something is involved.  In the sentence that I quote it is 'something else' that is involved i. e. son film, and not "someone else".

 Could you please clarify.

I am having a bit of a problem with the questions on my iPad.. about 50% of the time it jumps the second question and says that I have not answered it.. but cannot retake!

Hi. Elsa eats and I buy.. Shouldn't you rather use the progressive form in the translations, Elsa is eating and I am buying, as the simple present  denotes habitual or repeated actions, as if Elsa were eating them every day and I buying new sheets daily ?
