Could you have said 'le mur en face' instead of 'le mur d'en face'?
"we were not supposed to be able to come"- I keep getting this kind of error- the first is correct, the second is what I tend to do- not sure if it is passive voice that I am missing, or if there are times when what I think is a verb is being treated like an adjective. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.....
Can we say il m’attendre pour vérifie sous son lit?
Salut! Je m'appelle Lulu. J'ai une question a propos mon quiz.
I was asked to put a check mark next to the sentences that had the correct order of the adjective. I did not put a check mark on the following sentence: "un ogre grand comme une maison" because according to the lesson, the adjective "grand" is placed before the noun, but in this sentence the adjective "grand" is after the noun and it was marked as wrong. Could you please explain why I got it wrong? I am confused about this grammar rule. Merci beaucoup.

In the last sentence we use c'est to represent the baby girl. Meanwhile, all along we knew we were referring to her as a girl and not expressing a general notion. How come we used "c'est" instead of "elle" in the last sentence? Thank you.
