Could someone kindly elaborate on the grammatical structure behind instances when ‘ne’ and ‘pas’ occur side-by-side, like ‘Tu peux ne pas venir’ and ‘Prière de ne pas déranger’ please?
These are the examples given:
- parler : nous parlons (we are talking) -> je parlais
- finir : nous finissons (we are finishing) -> je finissais
- faire : nous faisons (we are doing) -> je faisais
- prendre : nous prenons (we are taking) -> je prenais
All the verbs have the same ending despite the subject. Perhaps I'm missing something
Dear sir/madam,
Titles of the pages are not readable as the fonts dont show up well. Can you please let me know what shall I do to ensure good fonts? I am using chrome browser on windows. On my android phone the same text looks fine though....
Best regards,
Gangadhar
In this question you have used ‘c’est’ - however it is not a general question. It is specific to ‘this’ apple. Please explain why it wasn’t ‘elle’. Thankyou
