Second Person in French

The second person refers to the person or group of persons addressed by the speaker.

For example

Tu es belle. (You are beautiful)
  -> Tu is a single person addressed by the speaker.

Vous êtes en retard. (You are late)
  -> Vous can be a single person or a group of people addressed by the speaker. (learn more)

In addition to singular and plural forms, second person has subject, object, stress and possessive forms.
