Regarding the question « I am going to Lucie’s house « from the lesson and the video included in the lesson, I understand chez to mean home and maisonand maison to mean house. So why is my answer nous avons à la maison incorrect in the test? The answer was chez in the test

Quelques, plusiers and distancethe green box refers to an example that hasn’t been mentioned...that of living a few or several streets away. I see the two sentences further down in the last list but somehow in the editing process they were left out of the lesson

Je fumais depuis des années quand j’ai décidé d’arrêterThe English translation that you give is not normally what one would say. We would say “I had been smoking...” not “I was smoking...”...the plus perfect not the imperfect. In French would one ever use the plus que parfait as we do in English?

and 2, I have heard before that if you crete a notebook, you can test just on that topic but I have never found a test attached to it or a link.

TOO, silent S - but which case are they talking about? And when I listen to the speaker, they say TOOS when there is a vowel. and 2)
