Why use indicative passe simple? (sorry can`t insert an accent).Elle courait quand le bus arriva. Arriva to my knowledge is not spoken, therefore would this be the format in a written report?

Tu viendras me voir aprés avoir mangé ton dessert.This is the quiz question it was applicable to: Tu viendras me voir ________ ton dessert. (You'll come and see me when you've eaten your dessert.) ->quand tu auras mangé
Aside from the fact that the response does not follow the sense of the lesson, does this not express the same thought: Tu viendras me voir après avoir mangé ton dessert.?

cadet/ aineeI have heard cadet used to mean youngest of a group of siblings., as aine ( no accents on keyboard) is used to mean the eldest or first born. why can cadet not be used for youngest daughter . In your writing challenge you did not offer cadet as a possibility although for a previous sentence you used ainee for the oldest .

un garçon vilainApparently vilain comes before the noun, but doesn't that adjective put the boy into a distinct category? and thus shouldn't it come after the noun? On the other hand lots of adjectives that come before the noun seem to me to put them into categories too. Such as genteel....How to see the difference?
