Is there a difference between là versus y

The text uses "Je serai là" I used "J'y serai" Is my alternate acceptable? If not, why not? Thank you.

the way the explanation is written suggests you are talking about more than one pronoun – not just ‘me-moi’. Are there others?

In this sentence:

should 'occupé' be 'occupés' to agree with the plural 'vous?'

Gender agreement of examples

I don’t understand why “Je me suis bien amusée.” adds the “e” for the feminine subject but “Je me suis lavé les dents.” does not when both speakers are female.

Question about the use of "dans le" with country names.

I was always taught (from textbooks, profs, etc) to use "en" with French countries/states/provinces that end in -e or start with a vowel sound and are singular. "Aux" with plural names, and au for the rest--with the exception of Mexique which uses "au" though it ends in -e. Oh, and à with cities.

Is this "dans le" thing a change in how the language is done or a regional peculiarity or what?
