I am uncertain why it is "de plus belle" and not "de plus beau".
It seems to refer back to le fou rire, which is masculine.
Maybe "plus belle" is a fixed term?

I translated this as 'Ce sera tellement rigolote' presuming we were talking about the 'farce' which is feminine. It was corrected as rigolo masculine. ?
