French Pop and K-PopThis week, we’re dancing, singing along and celebrating en musique the irresistible Fête de la Musique 🎵☺️ Did you know that Music Day, or La Fête de la Musique, is a French invention? This uplifting celebration of music was launched in 1982 by the French Ministry of Culture, with the aim of being an energetic and inclusive festival where all musical genres, from classical to metal, are equally valid and accessible to everyone. On June 21st in France, musicians are allowed to set up and play freely in designated public spaces, and pour que la fête continue, local French authorities traditionally suspend normal noise disturbance laws and curfews for the night.
