In this “Qui est-ce ?” podcast series, Kwiziq’s own super detectives Aurélie and Céline will test your investigative skills as they give you clues (en français bien sûr !) to guess a famous Francophone personality. And to help you practise your listening skills, these podcasts will be accompanied by some useful vocab, grammar lessons, and interesting links to go further! Bonne enquête !

Here’s some useful vocabulary featured in this podcast to help you conduct your investigation:
- remercier [quelqu’un] de [quelque chose] = to thank [someone] for [something]
- être bluffé(e) par [quelque chose] = to be amazed/blown away by [something]
- un indice = a clue/a hint
- publier [quelque chose] = to publish [something]
- un ouvrage = [someone’s] work/a book/a publication
- reconnu(e) = renowned
- un homme d’État = a statesman
- être d’accord = to agree
- être enterré(e) = to be buried
- ça me dit quelque chose = it rings a bell
- imposant(e) = imposing/large
- un uniforme militaire = an army uniform
- ça se précise ! = we’re zeroing in/getting closer!
- indissociable de [quelque chose] = integral to [something]
- fonder [quelque chose] = to found/create [something]
