When would the subjunctive be used in the imperative form?

Is it necessary to use "toutes" in this sentence, or can one just say "...et soudain elles ont disparu? Does it change the meaning somehow?

For the translation of "he revealed to me what happened in France", the correct answer was: Il m'a révélé ce qui s'était passait en France. I had the two mixed around, using p.c. on "what happened in France" and the imparfait for he revealed to me". Please explain the rational for the tenses. To me he revealed to me is continuing actiona and what happened in France is over and done with.

Ne Ni Ni in the quiz question is grammatically incorrect.Neither is one of two things. Therefore the question in the quiz was grammatically incorrect.` I like neither the guitar, nor the violin, nor the piano` is not phrased correctly.
