When to use dernier and when to use passe

I'm unclear on when to use dernier and when to use passe and this lesson doesn't address that.  I hear la semaine derniere and la semaine passe.

If 'lui' means him or her why does 'vous lui dites' mean 'you tell him...' And not 'you tell her...'

Kwiziq ScoringI was trying to improve my previous A1 & A2 grades and remove the light yellow areas in my brain map and it seems impossible to get above 84.6%. I'd be right at 84.6% and then get a succession of 10/10 results and my score would drop to 84.5%. I could then work back to 84.6% slowly - but I couldn't ever seem to get above that result and the yellow areas in my brain map stayed depressingly un-green.

Use of "en" rather than "y"In "she gives me four every week," shouldn't it be "elle m'y donne" rather than "elle m'en donne"? Isn't "en" only used where the article is "de"? As far as I know, it's "donner à," not "donner de."

Frustrating - not able to progress due to too long a period between being able to take further quizes.

How can I work towards a Silver Star on a specific area when the Kwizbot will not allow me to take any further quizzes for what looks like more than 8 days since the last quiz taken ?

It looks like when I take a few quizzes I am then hamstrung against making further progress for far too long a period of time.

Qu'est-ce que c'est la Sorbonne

This is still being marked as incorrect. If it is, please explain clearly why; if it is not please fix the problem with the questions related to this topic - it is confusing enough to follow without having repeated confusion added by incorrect marking. I have checked previous answers and it was stated that it was correct but marked wrong for repeating words from the question - but the question was to write "What is the Sorbonne" in French. Fairly difficult to leave Sorbonne out of the answer.

How can you be more specific with pain?E.g., with knee pain it’s usually the left or the right knee rather than both. What do I add to say the right knee, or left eye, or front tooth etc. I guess the latter involves prepositions ...

Pendant que instead of tandis que

I feel like pendant que could be used here instead of tandis que, since we’re talking about a temporal situation. Why is pendant que not given as a possible translation ?

Also, what is the KwizIQ team’s commitment to responding to questions on the weekend workouts? They haven’t seemed very responsive lately.
