In this question, isn't there more than one candle? I chose faiblissons instead of faiblit.
Jai choisit cette expression mais elle n'était pas juste. Votre ordinateur a remplacé 'des' avec 'les'. Peut-être que vous puissiez regarder ça ?
My head is whirling after studying this long article, especially using the adverbs mieux / pire for making a general statement with être eg Ta télé est bien mais la mienne est mieux.
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but surely in English you use the adjectival form here? You don’t say "yours is well …mine is better" but "yours is good…mine is better".
I think there is scope to highlight this more fully. [Edit: and indeed the Lawless article on Bien vs Bon that Chris referred to 4 years ago, actually says that bien is an adjective when used with state-of-being verbs]
Line 9: The audio says "effeuillez d'abord les fleurs,"
.......but d'abord is crossed out as incorrect by kwiziq in my written response.
"Tandis que le 14 février s'approche à grands pas"
1. What does "à grands pas" add here that is not covered by "s'approche"
2. Why is the reflexive verb used? Would not "approcher" cover the same semantic territory? It doesn't approach itself.

Il y a quelques jours j’ai écouté un podcast sur lequel la présentatrice a parlé de ‘faire les courses’.
Elle a décrit un panier avec deux petites roues qu’on utilise pour apporter les achats chez lui. (Surtout utilisés par les grand-mères!). Je pense elle a dit que ce panier s’appelle « un chariot », et the trolley on utilise au supermarché s’appelle « un caddie » C’est correcte ou pas?
