HI,
I was wondering would these two sentences be correct?
1) nous aimons Faire de la randonnée au canada
2) nous randonnons au canada
It's not homework just understanding the lesson on here better for practice.
Thanks
Nicole
What is wrong with this?
Non, Patrice ne joue plus au football_____. No, Patrice doesn't play football any more. This is more a comment than a question. I found this to be a difficult exercise. For one thing, the vocabulary is not taught in a typical French class. Words like laptop, headline, online etc are useful to know but not common. Also, there were so many ways to say the same thing. Sometimes the answers included alternate responses, sometimes not. I was taught (and use) "les nouvelles" for the news. I have never seen "les infos" before this exercise.
I found this article: "https://www.lawlessfrench.com/grammar/comparative-adverbs/", explaining how to use: "plus/moins/aussi que" and "plus/moins/autant de/que", and i did the 4-question kwiz at the of the lesson but I feel like I need more practice. Is there a way I could get more practice specific to these subjects?
That is the third kwiz in a row I have been given a phrase like that to type.. All the words are there to see and it is purely an exercise in typing.. Can it please be made multiple choice
Thanks
Édit.. Thé very next kwiz, it was multi-choice!.. Souhaits it is there
Now in another lesson, that would be marked incorrect as you would be looking for neuf and neuve
You have described that to visit a *place* is "visiter" but visiting a person is rendu visiter. In this example someone is visiting a place - ie an apartment - why is this rendlu visiter, as you state?
I have gone to my notebook repeatedly, but the Kwik Kwiz says this:
You took this Kwiz 21 hours, 54 minutes ago.
This lesson is already in your notebook. Go to your notebook now to kwiz this topic as many times as you like.
How can I retake this quiz? I am struggling with this particular subject and really want to retake the kwiz.
"We improved rapidly" why is this "nous nous sommes rapidement améliorés" instead of "nous avons rapidement amélioré"? I have no idea when to make a verb reflexive!
I translated "on top of" (the work surface) as "en dessus du" (plan de travail) rather than "sur le plan de travail". When would you use "en dessus de" (or au-dessus de) instead of "sur"?
