I'm interested that you translate 'fin de semaine' as 'weekend'. That was what I was taught in school years ago, but French practice now seems to be to call Saturday/Sunday 'le weekend' and for 'fin de semaine' to mean Friday, or just Friday evening.
Can we say nous faisons un gâteau???/
Vous faites un gâteau !!!?
Correct ??
I have celebrated Hanoucca with my family and friends for many years. We never have a Hanoucca bush! This is a symbol that is related to Christmas and has nothing to do with Hanukah. Please correct this, it is misleading and upsetting for people to think that we decorate a bush.
Thank you for your wonderful website and weekly exercises.

I am not doing the lessons in order but just looking them up for more for information in addition to what I am studying in class.
So say I am reading lesson 424 on passé composé, I have finished the 2 question quiz and then I want to go the next lesson....number 425...how do I get there?
If I type "Lesson 425" in the search box, it does not give me the option for that lesson.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Je constate que tout les leçons de Français sont en anglais. J'ai entendu que c'est mieux d'apprendre un langue dans le même langue.
Cest-tu possible d'avoir les leçons écrit en français? Selon moi ça serait utile pour tout le monde.
Merci :)
Hi! Could someone explain why "à nouveau" is preferred here to "encore"? Do they have slightly different meanings?
Is this a typo. Is "après-midi" not masculine ?
So instead of using Je I have to use J'ai ? Am I understanding this correctly?
