Hi Aurélie,

This question is not related to this lesson per se, but I am not sure I understand this correctly, it is in my quiz tests.

'La lettre que j'ai ecrite (cannot type the accent here) which translates to the letter that I wrote. Why is 'ecrite without the accent to show that it is in the past tense? What am I being taught here?

Another question: Is there something wrong with the bot? He is making me loose time.

Salut! In the last sentence I had written “ensuite” instead of puis but this is marked incorrect. I thought they were interchangeable? Please can you tell me the difference? 

"Mais saviez vous que..."

I am a bit confused here.. why saviez and not savez? In English we often say "did you.." but that is a quirk and actually means "do you?" and it is heard as present tense. I see saviez as "did you use to know".. implying that you might have forgotten.. This is clearly an active question and I thought that French was more particular than that on its use of tenses.

Are there any more examples you could give us? I used the direct object le with the apostrophe and it was marked wrong. How can we tell what word should be accented? Is ça always correct as opposed to le, la? In other words, are there certain times when the direct object must be before the verb or certain times when it has to be after the verb? Thank you.

I have a question about Futur Proche and Futur Simple. At what point/time do we change from Futur Proche to Futur Simple: 6 hours, 1 day,...? I do not remember seeing any rules about this.

c’est le résultat de l’entreprise qui affecté ... the most heavily and I wrote la plus lourdement since l thought the company was the most heavily affected. L’entreprise is feminine hence my use of la vs le. Why was this wrong? Thanks for your help!
