BANGS adjectives?This lesson is kind of confusing me. At school I learned that the superlative must come after the noun unless the adjective would come before the noun, and in that case the placement would be a choice. The French About page on superlatives also states this rule. So wouldn't "Marie est la plus intelligente fille de la classe" be incorrect?

Partir Must be followed by a preposition but does Sortir?It seems as though "sortir" MUST be followed by "de + a place" and never "pour + a place" but the lesson is much less emphatic about "sortir" than "partir." Do the same rules apply? "Sortir is not always instransitive as in your lesson with Sortir + Avoir in the passé composé. Je sors pour Londres or Je sors Londres are not possible. Is that correct?

ajoute v rajoute

Could you please explain the difference in meaning between ajoute and rajoute, according to Collins On Line Dictionary they both mean the same thing. Here are the 2 answers from the exercise: -

À la fin, elle rajoute de la cannelle.' 'A la fin, elle ajoute de la cannelle.'

ALSO in the two sentences, one of them has A and the other has À. Is this an error? If not please explain why both are correct.

Marmite vs. cocotte or casserole

Looking up the word for 'cooking pot' in Collins dictionary, I found two translations: 'une casserole' and 'une cocotte'. I am familiar with 'une casserole' being used more specifically for a 'saucepan' so I used 'cocotte'. I had completely forgotten about 'marmite', but was reminded of it after seeing it for the first time in many years - and, it makes complete sense.

My question: Is 'cocotte' incorrect here, and if so, how would it be used?

Ça va?Is there a lesson about "Ça va?" as a greeting? What are the correct responses to "Ca va?" Should I respond with "Ça va?" or something else?

A question on pronunciation of "deux" in different situations.In the video under subject "Ago", in both sentences about the shop "Il y a 2 ans, he pronounces 2 as if it were "douze" (12). I'm not clear on how to distinguish when the last syllable must include the consanent, as in "2 ans".

Why do you use "alors" instead of "donc"

I don't understand why you use "alors" instead of "donc". I don't get it because alors means so (then, yet) and donc means so, as well (therefore).
