is de peur que is similar de crainte que?According to my understanding, they are similar, so we can use them as same in a sentence? ex : je me relave le verre de peur qu'il ne soit pas propre. ou de crainte qu'il ne soit pas propre. are they correct?

La fois dernière or la dernière fois

Please help! I'm confused! Why is "la fois dernière" correct in this question, when there is a clause after the phrase "last time"? Thanks 😊

When last time is followed by a clause (last time I saw you), you can only use la dernière fois, never la fois dernière.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la fois dernière.You were still with Stéphane last time.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la dernière fois.You were still with Stéphane last time.

Tu étais encore avec Stéphane la dernière fois que je t'ai vue.You were still with Stéphane last time I saw you.

'La lettre que j'ai écrite'

Hi Aurélie,

This question is not related to this lesson per se, but I am not sure I understand this correctly, it is in my quiz tests.

'La lettre que j'ai ecrite (cannot type the accent here) which translates to the letter that I wrote. Why is 'ecrite without the accent to show that it is in the past tense? What am I being taught here?

Another question: Is there something wrong with the bot? He is making me loose time.

De + Qui , A + QuiWhen translating a sentence into French is there a way to decide if I use a + qui of De + Qui etc. In some of the B2 questions I am not sure of the correct grammar. To me xx could be that, of whom, whom, about which etc.. Perhaps its just any of the above.

n'est pas vs n'est-ce pas

Hi, I completed this sentence with 'n'est-ce pas' but it was marked incorrect. I'm confused. The correct answer given was 'n'est pas': I checked the attached lesson (to understand why my answer was incorrect) but I still I don't see why.

When do you use "en face de" vs. "devant"?

For example, I am in front of the school could be: Je suis en face de l'ecole or Je suis devant l'ecole?
