Does 'ces sont' exist in French or only 'ce sont'?
I have seen differing advice on this across the internet so I'm unsure
Thanks
Why is this phrase conjugated with être instead of avoir? "Jusqu'à ce que nous soyons réouvert l'appétit" en place de "jusqu'à ce que nous ayons réouvert l'appétit."
Hello,
I was doing some French exercises and I encountered this sentence: c'est le livre dont la lecture je te conseille" (my job was just to select a pronoun here). Anyway I thought it should be: c'est le livre dont je te conseille la lecture. It confused me, which one is correct ?
No two ways about it, listening practice is everything. Took me a while to get my lug (ear to an English person) around this dictation but pleased with the results.
I wonder, is the object of this sentence ("la" in) "Tu la suis, ou quoi?" (Are you following her, or what?) part of an expression; a special kind of object pronoun; or just the article for an unspoken feminine object of the sentence (fille/dame)?
The correct answer was auraient dû partir. Why not seraient dû partir ?
Why are the color adjectives for the flowers singular but not for the lilies?
