Eyes, Nose, lips, ears, palms of the hand?
why is it (nous) sommes alles but nous avons adore... Why does alles correspond to the 2 people involved but adore is singular. I don't recall the lesson in which the verb does or does not agree with the number in the subject. (and why can't I type accents in this part of the program???)
Can someone help? I learnt what I thought was a beautiful French expression with 'comprendre' which meant basically "I am confused". It woud be in a form like "I am confused please explain it to me more".. with the verb comprendre.
This lesson reminded me of it but I cannot recall the precise syntax now! Anyone? Thanks!
"La tradition veut que..." and "Puis la coutume veut que..." does the use of avoir vs être hold a special/unique translation? Or is it simply "is"?
What is the rule for using "au-dessous/dessus de" rather than "sous/sur"?

Est-ce-que une moitié toujours feminine parce-que demi n'est pas,
Réponse: le
Please can you explain why the answer is not "y" because the normal expression is "penser à qqch" and therefore it would seem that the answer should effectively be "tout le monde pense à le" or, using s preposition, "tout le monde y pense"?
