The system says the above phrase translates to 'How did she get it wrong?' - but I couldn't work out where the 'it' is. I thought it might mean 'How did she go wrong?' then checked Google Translate, which confirmed my interpretation.

Could this please be checked? Thanks (loving the site by the way)

Guessing that 'Je ne sais pas si ...' is acceptable ?  If so, does the same rule apply to use a subjunctive as you would when 'Je ne sais pas que ...' is used ?

  As in this sentence we are talking about Cecile(female), so why we use "anglais" instead of "anglaise"

Does this mean that y and le are interchangeable when à is used as a preposition? Obviously meaning is slightly changed but would the different meaning make a huge problem?

e.g. je le veux vs je veux y venir

I kept hearing elle(s) instead of eux in the second sentence although it made no sense.....but I am a bit deaf.

Why is “Une histoire très interéssante” correct?   très being a single syllable adverb  shouldn’t it be “ une très intéressante histoire” ?

Est-ce qu'on peut utiliser le verbe remporter à la place de gagner ?
