I was marked wrong for writing: “On volerait de Paris..” instead of “On prendrait l’avion de Paris...”. Can you please explain? Thanks
Rod
Is there anything special about this word?
-cer verbs become ç before -ons
Is there any exceptions?
Could you just confirm whether, as a woman, I should be writing
Je suis allée..
Je suis partie... etc..
Thanks
Why is "The monster revealed white, sharp canines" = Le monstre a révélé des canines blanches et pointues"
I thought the monster = masculine plural and blanches = feminine plural. They don't match up.
"nous descendrons "te" rejoindre dans la cuisine" This is how that appeared in the corrected dictation. What is "te" in reflexive verbs? Is this a misprint?
I commented previously on how confusing this lesson was—but it’s much better now. Getting rid of the e(X)er notation was a good idea and the logic of the whole lesson is more cohesive. Thanks very much.
Is prendre l'air an idiomatic expression? What does it mean, please? (e.g. to put on airs, to act in a certain way, etc.??)
