In "it is going to cook the yolk" the verb has an object so it used transitively. Shouldn't the French be "faire cuire" rather than just "cuire"?
Bonjour mes amis! Je m'appele Parsa et je viens de Leiden. C'est une ville des Pays-Bas. J'aime la ville.
In the tutorial Sortir can be used in the context of leaving. That is why I gave that option as a possible answer in the tick box. To avoid confusion the sentence in parenthesis should be removed.

(We're just leaving the metro.)
How would you say - ‘It suits you well’?
Il te va bien? or Ça te va bien?
Would the construction respect gender as well?
Finally when would you use çela over ça?
Thank you

"Hi, "Les étudiants ont été accueillis par le directeur ce matin." Why not:- "Les étudiants étaient accueillis par le directeur ce matin." I've been pondering why the first is correct but the second verb construction isn't. I opted for "avoir besoin de" here, but "dois" was preferred. That's okay. But I had to put a "de" and "le" together. I did not change it to "du." Which is correct. I appreciate your response.
