How to use "il faut que" in French
Look at the sentences using il faut que:
The expression Il faut que... is always followed by a verb in Mode subjonctif.
To express obligation, you can also use the structure "Il est nécessaire que + Subjonctif (Il est [adjectif] que + the subjunctive mood (Le Subjonctif) = It is [adjective] for [someone] to ... in French).
