agreement of adjectives when two adjectives describe the same nounBonjour! I thought that if two adjectives were being used to describe the same noun, then you wrote these adjectives both in the masculine form, even if the noun is feminine, e.g. Elle a acheté une nouvelle robe blanc et noir. Yet, the correct answer in a quizz I did was "les canines blanches et pointres", not "blancs et pointres". Can someone please explain this? Cheryl.

Passé simple:Yes I agree that it does avoid the passé composé rules but....if it is only used as a written tool, why are there so any questions using it? While there may be a lot of the 77,000+ people using this site to learn French, I would bet a lot of money that most of us are learning to be able to speak it properly. Just my frustration. I would prefer more attention be given to idioms such as the ones in the weekend challenge.

In the example: "Basile adore se coucher tard." Why isn't it 'tarde'?Isn't the object Basile feminine?

Doubt regarding one of the examples aboveTu amèneras des citrouilles pour qu'on les sculpte? I thought "amener" was used for people and animals. Shouldn't we use "apporter" here ?

ne expletif If the 'ne' is optional why are you marking down? Also in a previous explanation we are told that following a negative main clause we cannot use a 'ne' expletif....? Have I misunderstood? Please address both points.

vu vs regardéfor the translation, Yes we've seen them (films) I had "Oui, nous les avons vus" and it was marked incorrect while "nous les avons regardés" was the correct answer. Shouldn't either response be correct?
