on is a singular for we. It takes an auxillary verb in the singular; therefor the past participle should be single also so it should be on est allé

Certains d'entre eux voulaient au cinéma.Bien que j'étudie le français pendant plus que deux ans, j'ai toujours un problème avec l'imparfait et le passé composé. Ma questionne est pourquoi avez-vous utilisé l'imparfait au lieu de le passé composé. Ou sont-elles tous les deux une possiblité dans cette phrase. Au fait, <au lieu de le passé composé> ne me paraît pas d'être correct...dans mon avis.

Why is this reflexive verb conjugated in passé composé ?The quiz question about translating "When I was young, people dressed differently" is answered as: "Quand j'étais jeune, les gens s'habillaient différemment."

But I thought the reflexive participle only changes to reflect quantity and gender as in these examples:

Il s'est levé.
Je me suis amusée. (When the speaker is female)
Elle s'est lavée.

Why is "se habille" conjugated into "s'habillaient" in the quiz question above? Shouldn't it be:

"Quand j'étais jeune, les gens se sont habillés différemment"?

Nettoie vs nettoyeNettoye the lesson gives Nettoye as the alternate spelling of nettoie but the quiz doesn't follow your lesson...I tried it just to see if it would be accepted...surely it should be marked "correct"

So i just took the little quiz in the end and I got one wrong because I checked an option that included 'we'. How do you know whether it is plural or singular besides looking at the verb ending or the article? Thank you so much!

Where "on" refers to " we" as a specific group of people, should it not be "verrons" rather than "Verra"
