Hi, in the line “nous avons développé des intérêts communs” I believe I’m hearing a short connecting word/syllable between “intérêts” and “communs”. Am I imagining this?
Why the conditional, auraient, here? Why not the pluperfect similar to pouvaient?
For this to be correct, doesn’t the subject have to be female? I answered that only “Tu as apparu comme un ange” was the only correct answer because I couldn’t assume that the sub just was female

Even though I've read and practiced a lot with them, I still can distinguish which is which, why in this story "Je voulais les garder" but not "J'ai voulu les garder". Please help me!
I kept getting corrected for using a capital letter after the "-" at the start of a line of dialogue. But it was frustratingly inconsistent—later I would get corrected for not using one. And the final text is displayed with capital letters in all cases. What's going on/what's the rule?
