I was corrected when translating "love" with adorer instead of aimer, but on my next quiz "love" was translated with adorer. Is there a way to remember which to use? They were both regarding inanimate objects.

The correct answer is "de crainte que tu ne sois."Why do we use the present subjunctive instead of theimparfait subjunctive or past subjunctive?
"They didn't go to the party for fear that you would be there."In English, I typically hear "out of fear" vs. "for fear."
Why do we pair le passé composé with the present subjunctive?The past action or inaction was in the past and the fear (of you) wasin the past. I submitted "fusses," but that was incorrect. I assumethat "aies été" was incorrect as well.
Is there a time period where you typically use imparfait (more thana day? or a week?) vs. passé composé with être?

suggestion: include the words "lame" and " le manche" in vocabulary list in "Preparing for Mushrooms" (B2)

I am seeing progress on these B2 listening exercises now that I keep an eye on the vocabulary list while listening to the entire passage read aloud several times. (Also, it is helping me to repeat the phrase aloud before starting to type it.) I'd like to suggest you include "lame" and "le manche" in this vocabulary list because they are also words of a somewhat specialized nature.
