Avoir beau / pourvu que / en attendant etc. Est-ce que c'est nécessaire qu'on apprenne les phrases tel que avoir beau, pourvu que, quoique, en attendant que et à condition que... Vraiment, ça n'est pas une bonne question Je sais qu'on doit apprendre toute la langue. Mais, je n'en ai jamais vu dans les examens que vous avez présenté. Hier soir, notre prof (une française) nous a introduit tel que phrases. C'est important qu'on apprenne celles qui sont listé ci-dessus? Verbs + prepositionI am confused here. The question says "arriver" is "to manage". However is "arriver" not "to arrive" and "arriver à" is "to manage"?

il fautIs there a lesson on the conjugation of il faut for compound tenses especially the future proche & perfect and Le Passé Proche. I have read 'Il Faut : Expressing Necessity And Obligation" but need something a bit deeper. The conjegations of falloir I find online only do the Passé Composé. I know its just the ' il' conjugation of falloir but I thought a lesson might help it sink in.

What about for indoor temperature?If "Il fait chaud" is only for outside, how would you say, "It is hot" when indoors, meaning the temperature of the room you are in?

Hello,On one of my quizzes, I was asked how to say 25 min before midnight. I answered vingt trois heures vingt cinq. It was wrong, but I don't understand why even after reading over the lesson again, and looking on the internet. Could someone please help clarify this for me? Thanks, Tony
