Se retrouver versus rencontrer?Is there a difference in usage between se retrouver and rencontrer? I think they both mean to meet.

"Le nombre ( de bises) le plus répandu, c'est 2. Why do you need the c' here. Why not just "le nombre est 2?"

"de" or "des"

"Bonjour

Can you please clarify for me why the answer on 1 of the questions - see below - contains "de" before the adjective and noun?

"Ta soeur et ses amis ont de jolies poupées."

I would have expected "des" because "poupées" is plural.

Comment vont-ils aller en Allemagne ? (How are they going to Germany?)I just learned "Comment vont-ils aller en Allemagne ?" Why is aller necessary here? Why can't it just be "Comment vont-ils en Allemagne ?" Thanks
