I notice that "carte bancaire" was used here, not "carte bleue" and carte bleue wasn't given as an acceptable answer. Is it falling out of use in France ?

Perfect infinitive vs Après queDoes the sentence "Après qu'il a quitté la soirée, Eric est rentré chez lui" mean the same as "Après avoir quitté la soirée, Eric est rentré chez lui." Is using "après que" an easier way to say the same thing?

Ce vase Ming vaut plus que tu ne peux l'imaginer.Ce vase Ming vaut plus que tu ne peux l'imaginer. This Ming vase is worth more than you can imagine. What is the purpose of "ne" here? The sentence doesn't seem to indicate any negative tense.

J'ai besoin d'aller faire les courses

There are a couple of examples where it says "aller faire les ...". Is this really needed, or at least natural in French? Would it make a difference to say "Je dois faire les courses", or "J'ai besoin de faire les courses"?
