I wrote, "Je n'ai pas le montant exact." 

Would that have worked in that setting?

Is there a rule about using hyphens with 'et un' when added to thirty, etc.?

Why doesn’t Kwiziq also accept “ On ne pense que soi-même”?

I was surprised by the sentence “Je ne peux pas imaginer ce que serait ma vie”, as I normally see “ce qui [verb]” and “ce que [subject pronoun + verb]”. Should it be “ce qui serait”?

I know these lower level dictées are meant to be spoken slowly to suit beginners, but I find that with the over-enunciation, I often hear words that aren't there. Not sure whether this is a good thing or not?

For example:

-J'adore voyager

-C'est mon passe-temps favori

I hear :

-j'adore à voyager

-C'est mon passe au temps favori

Merci Aurelie. This was a really fun and uplifting song to listen to. Great listening practice. You are right - it is a bit fast, but I was able to follow along while reading the lyrics. Actually, the first two lines were the hardest to understand - I'm not even sure what it means in English to 'redden the tea in Amman's souks'!

The sentence given in English is "Go to bed!"  Why isn't it simply "to bed!" to avoid confusing it with "va te coucher!"  which is marked as "wrong"? 

The sentence asks how one would translate: "If she could fly, she would go to the moon." ? 

My sense is that this is misleading because "if she could fly" is conditional not past continuous. Shouldn't it read "If she flew, she would go to the moon" to avoid confusion?

Good exercise, but it reminds me to ask, could we have more topics about the darker sides of life? I feel that because the exercises are very strongly weighted towards positive scenarios there’s a whole dimension of human experience that I’m not learning the vocabulary and phrases for. Thanks.
