There seems to be a subtle difference between en même temps and à la fois when expressing "at the same time"; can you state the general rule?
i learned that aimer is to love a person or animal but it means like for an object and if you want to love an object you use adorer eg j'adore le chocolat - i love chocolat. j'aime le chocolat - i like chocolat. Is this wrong?
The online French-English dictionary translates "je ne peux pas attendre a" as "I can't wait to", with numerous examples, but you list only "j'ai hate que" as a translation for "I can't wait to". Is there some difference between "j'ai hate" and "je ne peux pas attendre" in actual French usage?
Thanks.
