Pire or plus mauvais?I don't think the examples given have explained the difference between these two forms. I think I read somewhere that pire was more for abstract things. Is this right? What is the difference between an accent and results?

Difference between prendre vs mettre du temps

Bonjour à tous,

In translating the idea of the time it takes to do something, are mettre and prendre interchangeable? Or are there specific situations for the use of each ?

aimer v adorer

i learned that aimer is to love a person or animal but it means like for an object and if you want to love an object you use adorer eg j'adore le chocolat - i love chocolat. j'aime le chocolat - i like chocolat. Is this wrong?

Why only fortement is correct? Fort can also be used an adverb.

Je devais vs j'ai dûI though devoir in imparfait meant "was supposed to" and in passé composé meant "had to" so shouldn't it be "j'ai dû me lever plus tôt"?

Subjonctif futur"J'ai peur que tu ne le fasses" means "I'm scared you'll do it" according to one test. But shouldn't it rather be "I'm scared you are doing it"? There seems to be no subjonctif futur in French?

list of verbs that require an indirect object pronounBonjour! Would the verb mettre & other verbs containing mettre (admettre; promettre etc), all require an indirect object pronoun instead of a direct object pronoun, please? Reason being that these verbs are followed by the preposition à. (I'm trying to make a list of all verbs that require an indirect object pronoun: "to him/her"; "to them") Cheryl

"Ma" Mere, "Mon' pere, "Mon" frere

In the audio of the three above words, "le" and "la" are spoken instead of "ma" and "mon", which is what is actually written.

"Je trouve ça" vs. "Je le trouve"

The lesson says that with ça or cela, the word is after the verb trouve, and when there's an object pronoun le, la, les, etc, the pronoun goes before the verb. Isn't cela an object pronoun? Why wouldn't "I find it..." be translated "Je le trouve..."?
