What is the difference in usage with cependant, alors que, pourtant, et en revanche?
Quick question please. Regarding par le with trains and par with planes, why would you not use par le planes but you would use le with trains?
Merci
In the last sentence, why is the verb form used, nous ne serons pas pris, instead of, nous ne prendrons pas. I'm not sure what this verb tense is.
As 'secondary (or high) school' covers student ages from 12-13 to 18-19, it is not a simple choice between 'lycée' and 'collége' in my part of the world. It may be better to give an age range clue for the students if looking for a specific French level of schooling to be given, as there is no uniform standard in English.
For this statement: "Est-ce ta trousse? - Oui, c'est la mienne."
Why are we using "c'est" if it is about a specific item (the pencil case). In the previous lesson, if we know exactly what we're talking about we should use il/elle.
Thanks
Bonjour,
Is this sentence correct: je ne cours pas du tout pour faire du sport? When to add the pour+infinitif? Example, when you add pour in the example above: Pauline ne veut pas du tout pour dormir -> will mean the same thing as without pour, won't it?
Appreciate all the help!
Merci :)
