How does this translate?
Salut! In the second last sentence, tarte is feminine, so why is it “LE goûter” and not LA goûter? I’m assuming the meaning of the sentence is “she invites some friends to taste it” or does it mean “the tasting”?
Is "tiens" an intensifier here? As (in English - "I'll say" or "I'll tell you what" or "bloody hell" etc etc :)
I tried using blesser to see if the system would accept this alternative and was marked wrong. Tell me why J’ai blessé Olive (yesterday when I stepped on her foot) is wrong. I like blesser because it’s easier to use, but not if it’s wrong! Thanks so much.
You use rapidement = vite = fast in another question !!!
I understand the use of the conditional but why is it not acceptable to have "arriverait" instead of "serait"?
I assume that
Il faut ranger sa chambre
can mean
You must tidy his/her room
as well as
You must tidy your room
Or would you say it a different way?
