I read it somewhere else that pis is also the comparative form of mal. Can we talk about the usage of pis vs mal ? Thanks.
I am just wondering why it is not "mais je la aimerais réchauffée..." as she is talking about 'une tarte tatin'.

So on the writing challenge test,( If I could start all over...). I translated the last sentence "I could even get a dog." using "pouvais" meaning "able to" but the correct translation was using "pourrais" the conditional form. Please clarify!,Thank you, Karen
I think it would be helpful to see more test questions using lorsque, après que and une fois que rather than just 'quand' in the Futur Antérieur.
I just knew the word défi. And I would imagine the word comes from défiance. Is there any difference between these two words? Thank you.

(Could we) passer Chez vous après le spectacle? Pourrions- nous is the answer
But with this sentence
(Would he) signer cette pétition? Signerait- il would be the answer
I'm very confused and help would be greatly appreciated
