Hi there,
When speaking about an object or something being on a body part, do we always use "à"+le/la/les?
example: " ...une plaie immense au bras gauche".
What does it mean if you say ".... une plaie immense "sur" son bras gauche"
Would this be incorrect: "On n'a vingt ans qu'une fois" ?
Is there a rule as to whether à or de follows a verb?
Is opposé used rather than en face de ever? In what circumstance would I use opposé(e)? Would I be understood if I used opposé and not en face de? Merci.
How is it that Juliette says " je passe mes vacances” but then asks “ comment se passent tes vacances?” why is one reflexive and one not please?
Why must I have a circumflex on the i for quoi?
In the lesson i wrote Tu me RAPELLE ta mere; but the correct answer is given as RAPELLES, which seems like a plural
I have noticed that transparaître and derivatives are seen with both être and avoir as auxiliaries. I assume it's because of transitive and intransitive verb usage. Is this the reason ? Can you please give me some examples.
Why is the translation 'Le club fermera dans dix minutes" wrong in answer to the question "The club closes in 10 minutes''
when 'fermera' translates to 'will close' Or 'The club will close in 10 minutes'
But 'Le club ferme dans dix minutes' is the correct answer. Surely 'will close' and 'closes' is the same meaning.
