Impossible concept! How bad can it sound to a native speaker if I get this wrong? They always ask if I speak English, anyway, every time I speak French.
why is the adjective here after the noun?
J'habiterais dans une villa gigantesque - I thought "size" went before a noun
I also love inventing my own shish kebab skewers........
There is no option for 'also' included in the french translations.
"Je n'aime pas non plus certains supporters qui peuvent être violents ou même racistes"
Could you use "voire" to replace "ou même" in this sentence? With a comma after "violents" ? I tried and it was marked incorrect.
Thank you!
Hi,
I thought esperer did not take the subjonctif unlike souhaiter.
Thanks
Hi there, the last example in the video is:
Je donne une pomme à Paul.
Would the replacement with lui be:
Je lui donne une pomme
What if I wanted to replace the une pomme with la, what would the word order be?
Merci!
puis j'irais en Arizona (from fill in the blanks). As I learned from other sources all US states are masculine but 9: la Californie, la Caroline du Nord, la Caroline du Sud, la Floride, la Géorgie, la Louisiane, la Pennsylvanie, la Virginie, la Virginie occidentale. So, Arizona is not feminine ? So shouldn't it be à l'Arizona?
