In the 4th sentence: entre chercher les œufs et les manger, why are these verbs in the infinitive form. I thought they would be in the gerund. Thank you!

It is the 'like' that confuses me  there is no  'like' eg   ça sent comme du chocolate.  I cannot grasp 'who' is smelling or 'what' is smelling and I get it wrong each time!!!

Or how to send this quesiton!!!!!  Caroline

Is the word "en" necessary in the above sentence? 

In this exercise, there is the line "Le dimanche, comme il faisait beau..." which I assume is intended to mean "On Sunday (specific day), as the weather was nice..." but does not correspond to the teaching of the below lesson which states that "Le dimanche" means "On Sundays" (plural) and that "Le" needs to be omitted if you want to talk about a specific day.

Can you please clarify the discrepancy. Merci d'avance :)

You will NOT use le when talking about weekdays in a specific context (on Monday):

On Wednesday, you will go to school.

Mardi, je vais au théâtre.

On Tuesday, I'm going to the theatre.

I am confused. Sometimes Ayez is used sometimes Ayons is used.

For example "Ayez confiance mes amis" I was corrected from Ayons

But here is one example Ayons foi en notre force . 

Is there a rule or we just have to know, like vocabulary

Je ne comprends pas la raison que vous avez écrit "C'est très ennuyeux". Est-ce que "C'est très ennuyant" est aussi correcte?
