I have a question about when subjects are going somewhere. Sometimes we use "à____". why is this different?
"on naviguerait jusqu'en Martinique "
Why jusqu'en?
Thanks
Could you please explain the reason for the inversion of the negative "ne...rien" in this sentence? Thank you.
I cannot understand at all what the difference is between the phrases below using plaire. It seems to me both are possible but only one is correct according to Kwiziq:
Ce restaurant nous plait vs Ce restaurant plait a nous
Please forgive the lack of accents
This question was on a test. Write "I play tennis.": Je ________ tennis. Did I understand the lesson correctly?
Does the answer match what the lesson is teaching? (I can't see or remember either at this moment, but I copied the question before leaving the test page.)
It would be helpful to get an English translation at the end of the exercise For example, I’m not very clear what dans son assiette means.
I understand the construction and use of "Il veut que j'aille acheter du lait.", but I wonder if "Il me veut acheter du lait" is any less correct? Thanks!
Why does the example of manquer have this example: “Jacques a raté son train”?
For the question 'In spite of herself Katia started to hope' I used 'en dépit d'elle'. This was marked wrong and malgré given as the correct answer. What am I missing here? The lesson says that you can use either.
Could be an improvement over the current phrasing. And -GUER doesn't need explanation as it fits the general rule as would -IER verbs.
I could not understand the phrase "un bon pour les cheveux shampooing" so could not put words in right order.
