 Il désire retourner A LYON.  ….a)  Il y désire retourner OR  b) Il désire y retourner.         Generally the pronoun precedes the infinitive, but at the same time we are told it should precede the verb it modifies. Could you please explain whether a) or b) is correct and why?

"Je n'ai jamais rien dit!" is an example sentence, and there is a quiz question that tests this.

Just wondering if there is a rule explaining why it is incorrect to say "Je n'ai jamais dit rien!" ?

Rendre visite has a somewhat negative meaning in terms of something being an obligation. That's fine if that's what is intended but you "aller voir" someone who is a friend.

I don't understand why "depuis" is used here despite the fact that we use "depuis" for ongoing actions as stated in the lesson below.

The translation of "Quoi que vous pensiez, gardez-le pour vous" should be "Whatever you're thinking, keep it TO yourself", correct? In other words, don't say what you're thinking?

Why was qui est-ce qui not correct? Qui was the correct answer. I thought the two were interchangeable and both correct?
