Rex reminds Anna of her dog & Rex reminds Anna of his dog

Both appear to translate as Rex rappelle son chien à Anna

Bonjour,

I noticed that in the video attached above, sometimes du is used rather than de with retard, for example - J'ai eu du retard / Le train a du retard.

While in this lesson, it mentions that "avoir (5 minutes) de retard".

Is it when "avoir ... de retard" uses with no specific time, the "de" can change to "du" ?

"Commun" pronounciation

"Commun" sounds like "Comman" this is a little confusing, you cannot hear the 'U' is there an explanation ?

Replacing nouns with "Les" or "en"In "J'ai encore des cadeaux à acheter. - Marie ________ a déjà tous achetés !"

The answer is reported as "les." But I used "en" because of the previous reference to "des cadeaux" and the following reference to "tous achetes." Would this be correct as well, or, if not, why is it wrong?

On s'attend à tout de sa partOn s'attend à tout de sa part.We expect anything from him.I am confused about what the sentence means. Does this mean the person being talked about is capable of anything? The English translation doesn't totally make sense to me the way it's phrased.
