French language Q&A Forum

Hi, I am having a bit of trouble: I have added several topics to my Notebook - however when I repeat the lesson and try to re-do the questions I'm told that the topic must be added to the Notebook to be able to do that ....... but the lesson is in the Notebook and it's from there I am attempting to repeat the lesson.

Is there a limit on the number of lessons I can have in the Notebook (I only have 12), or is there a minimum time limit before I can repeat the questions at the end of the lesson?

Many thanks,

N

Why is it that it is la cousine d'Eve and not la cousine a Eve?
(With eve being a name)

Have tried repeatedly to submit answers but they are not checked. Clicking try again does not work. Very frustrating.

I thought gold was (or) how come its jonquilles dorees.

Thank you!!

I got 0 out of 2 on the quiz but the drop down menu gave incorrect answers - they were in English, not French.

I am working on level C1. I have no interest in learning the Passé Simple, just in being able to speak French. Half the questions in the test are Passé Simple and I'm feeling the remaining questions are repetitive. Getting a bit bored..... Do love what you do usually!

why is the answer „mille“ not „millers d‘“?

Yes, the English word "miss" was used, but I understand that mademoiselle has basically been stricken from the language unless one is strictly speaking to a very young girl. Are we to assume that is the implication here?
