Why isn't ces used in this reply - given that les livres is plural
Please explain why in this exercise the present subjunctive is used rather than the perfect subjunctive in the sentence 'Il a fallu qu'elle reste suspendue dans les airs plusieurs heures avant que les secours ne réussissent à la secourir.'
Is it correct to use 'rentrer' instead of 'retourner' in the last but one sentence?
Why do you say "Nous mangeons de l'agneau" instead of "Nous mangeons d'agneau"? I thought lamb was masculin.
I thought adverbs can only modify a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
How come the adverb 'bientôt' is placed before the nound 'les vacances"?
il en existe toutes sortes - why isn't is this : il en existent toutes sortes.
It looks like this is never used in the plural - an impersonal phrase, is that correct ?Thanks

I result I got was 'je ne sais pas dans quelle direction tourner'. However, the Kwizig translation is 'je ne sais plus où donner de la tête' in the excercise! I'm confused? Bobbie L
Within the overall subject of this weeks exercises - celebrating the women of France - should this not continue the theme and be "les jeunes sportives".
