What's the difference between le verbre aller et aillent? Is it the same verb, different tense? Or am I way off and it's just pronounced aillent?
Hi! I've been living in Québec for a while now and i just wanted to check something? When I translated turn off the light as fermer la lumière, it said that the correct way to say was éteindre la lumière. i've never heard anyone say that before, it's always fermer when you want to translate turn off. Is that just a Québec thing? I thought everyone said that
The sentence I am trying to make sense of is: "Pas de quoi rigoler a priori mais tonton.......". My understanding is: "Nothing to laugh at in the last statement but uncle....". Am I correct and is the "Pas de Quoi" part really just a shortening of: Il y a pas de quoi?
