Ça a dû être vs Ça doit avoir été

Bonjour forum et les experts

Mon question se réfère à la phrase 'Ça a dû être particulièrement difficile pour la pauvre Christelle' Je n'ai aucun problème avec le phrase. Je demande juste si c'est également possible de l'écrire, 'Ça doit avoir été particulièrement difficile pour la pauvre Christelle'?

Et si no, pourquoi?

In the video when explaining "we live" she did not pronounce the 's' at the end of 'nous.' Because the 'h' in 'habitons' is silent, shouldn't the 's' in 'nous' be pronounced?

A suggestionI wish there were tests comprised of questions from all the levels -- I find that knowing which material was covered in each section is helping me unconsciously "game" the test. It would be a great way to review all the material (or perhaps just A0-B2).

I'm a bit confused by what "on their own" means,especially when, in an example, "le jour suivant" isn't used on its own. I read the Q&A, and I'm still confused. Which sentence structures are correct for which phrases?

"Fait mal" vs. "Fait DU mal"

Paul me fait mal vs. Elle me fait du mal quand elle dit ça. I understand that du is for emotional pain and à is for physical pain, so why does the first example have neither?

Pronunciation of "ai"

I'm really confused, so I thought in prnounciation "ai" = "ay" as in "way."

But it's being pronounced with J'ai with "i" as in "ice." What's going on?

Use of word 'pleins'

hi room, experts:

Please explain why sentence, 'And it was with stars in my eyes that I came out of that magical place!' translates as, Et c'est avec des étoiles plein les yeux que je suis sortie de ce lieu magique

My question refers to the usage of the word, 'pleins'. I am wondering if 'pleins' is being used as a preposition here in the same way that 'dans' is, and if so can it be used as an alternative in other case too.

Jack descended (on) the giant

I can see from the discussion that I am not the only learner who gets confused about this, but am I correct that these two sentences are translated thus:

Jack descended the giant = Jack a descendu le geant (Sorry, can't do the accent)

and

Jack descended on the giant = Jack est descendu sur le geant.
