But, what I find it a little confusing is that I've seen the two words used interchangably to describe the ceremony on the wedding day. Please explain this difference.

s'attendre àI feel like I will never get this. You wrote "Note that s'attendre à is usually used for negative expectations (i.e., I expect something bad)" but then "You're expecting some happy news" is "Tu t'attends à de bonnes nouvelles." Happy news is neither negative or bad.

When to use J'ai and je suis

Hi, I just did a test for dropping the ai part of j'ai when next to a vowel. I got this wrong but these examples were used.

J'ai vingt ans- I am 21

Je suis grand - I am tall

J'habite à Londre

Why does j'ai (i thought this means I have and je suis (I thought this meant I am) both have the translation of " I am

Brain Map for Premium UsersBrain Map is not responsive to gestures in revealing more information (other than color codes) when used on an iPad with most current iOS with Safari as the browser. Thank you in advance as the feature is quite extraordinary if it will provide detailed analysis as the tutorial demonstrates. PS Are there plans to release kwiziq as an app (currently available only in a browser) and a "native speaker" segment as used in some other language apps?
