Why do you say mangées and not mangé, since it's "Anne a mangé"?

Am I correct in thinking that, in this case, "bien" is describing the house and is therefore an adjective?

If this is true, then "bien" can be an adjective as well as an adverb.

Please could you tell how to know when to  use "bien" or "bon" as an adjective.

In other words, why did the question not read "Cette maison est bonne" ?

To all those who are confused about why 10 mins etc. is correct and 10 minutes is wrong, please ignore the given explanations as they make no sense whatsoever. They are both correct!

Why is "j'ai regardé dans le frigo" not accepted ? 

This may be a little arcane, but what is the general naming convention in French when using proper names from other languages that use the Latin/Roman alphabet, especially for famous persons? For example, in this exercise Leonardo Da Vinci is rendered in the French Léonard de Vinci. The Italian spelling seems to be widely used & in the States at least there has been a move towards using the native spelling of names in academic works & history books.

In English calling him Leonard from Vinci would sound really weird.  

Wouldn't on y va also be translated as let's go?
