C'est à moiI seem to remember another lesson that talked about the the sort of construction above. Something like Whose suitcase is this? (French translation appreciated)- C'est a moi. = It's mine. I have trouble remembering the "names" of the different types of pronouns. Would it be possible to add a link to the lesson that discussed à moi, à toi, etc. ?

Pire or plus mauvais?I don't think the examples given have explained the difference between these two forms. I think I read somewhere that pire was more for abstract things. Is this right? What is the difference between an accent and results?

Soudain vs. soudainement?

In this example, I am wondering why soudainement is not used (adding "ment" to the feminine version of an adjective).

I am looking at this sentence and soudain seems to be used as an adverb/is that why no "ment".  If so would you please provide me with an example where soudainement might be used?  Many thanks. 

On regardait les lucioles, et soudain toutes ont disparu.

arriver, to manage, also uses être as the auxiliary verb?I answered the quiz using 'as arrivé' for 'managed', but it was marked wrong and this is the linked page. There are other verbs which sometimes and avoir and sometimes être depending on meaning. Do I correctly understand that with arriver it only uses être? Thank you, Terri

Does ‘Vas-y’ mean ‘Let’s go’ or ‘Go there’ or either, depending on context?

I’ve seen both answers given in the space of half a hour. Does it depend on context or is this a mistake? Or am I mistaken? Merci.

For example with the verb manger. Je mange une pomme, Does it become "je ne mange pas *une* pomme or *de* pomme?
