Various authorities suggest that one uses voir for the cinema and regarder for the tv. Could you clarify? After I watched the film, after I saw the film... ??
I love the use of the colors ! You might consider using them in all the examples as well. Finally, for even greater clarity - select a color for the subject of the verb (that which is doing the "bringing to mind"). Again, the colors are so powerful. Thank you for all the great lessons.
Why is this not 'Je ne lui pensais guere' please?
je pense que c'est Costard et pas costar.
In the first three example 'je' is followed by a word starting with a vowel. Why doesn't 'je' change to j'?
eg Puis-je avoir le pain, s'il vous plaît? --> Puis-j'avoir le pain?
how do you say to layer the hair?
The question I'm looking at says "Tu ne veux pas savoir ________ je pense de ton costume" and the correct answer indicated is "ce que." However, because it's "... _______ je pense DE" shouldn't it be "ce dont?"
Similar examples would be:
"Tu sais ce dont je suis capable."
"C'est ce dont j'ai peur."
"Je ne sais pas à quoi tu penses." (This is 'penser à' instead of 'penser de')
What am I missing here?
Hi,
I'm having difficulties understanding why this lesson is under "Pronouns"... It looks to me it would be better places under "Idioms and Idiomatic Expressions"...
You can always point out that I'm wrong off course.
